The ASRock Z790 Steel Legend WiFi (DDR5) is an ATX motherboard built on the Intel Z790 chipset, compatible with 12th, 13th, and 14th Gen LGA 1700 CPUs. It features a 16+1+1 phase power design for stable delivery, and supports four DDR5 DIMM slots with overclocking up to ~7200+ MHz. For expansion, it offers a PCIe 5.0 ×16 slot, a PCIe 4.0 ×16 (x4), and a PCIe 3.0 ×16 (x2). Storage options include one PCIe 5.0 “Blazing” M.2 slot, four PCIe 4.0 “Hyper” M.2 slots, and eight SATA III ports. Networking features Wi-Fi 6E and Realtek 2.5 Gb Ethernet, while the rear I/O has a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C, other USB ports, HDMI 2.1, and DisplayPort 1.4. The board uses a Realtek ALC897 7.1-channel audio codec and includes a 2 oz-copper PCB, solid heatsinks, hybrid fan headers, and ASRock’s Polychrome RGB lighting support.
