The MSI MAG Z790 Tomahawk WiFi DDR4 is a high-performance ATX motherboard built on the Intel Z790 chipset for LGA 1700, compatible with 12th, 13th, and 14th generation Intel CPUs. It features a strong 16+1+1 “Duet Rail” VRM design with dual 8-pin CPU power connectors for stable overclocking. The board supports four DDR4 memory slots, offering up to 5333+ MHz overclocked speeds and a maximum capacity of 128 GB. For storage, it provides four M.2 Gen‑4 ×4 slots and seven SATA 6 Gb/s ports. Expansion includes one PCIe 5.0 ×16 slot for GPUs, another PCIe 4.0 ×16 (x4), and a PCIe 3.0 ×1.
